First Branch Marayo River Bank

The San Juan River in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, has a riverbank protection project,  currently underway. Additionally, a Community Fish Landing Center (CFLC) was constructed on the riverbank in the Poblacion area of Pontevedra.

River Bank Projects

BACOLOD

Lupit River, Sum-ag River, and Banago River. A riverbank with an esplanade is located along the Lupit River. Floodwalls are being built.

E.B MAGALONA

Malogo River. It’s a significant waterway in the area, particularly in the barangays of Canlusong and San Isidro. A new bridge, Sitio Calaptan Bridge, was recently constructed

SAN CARLOS

Flood control structure along Andoon River that aims to protect residents in the city of San Carlos, Negros Occidental during heavy rains.

HINOBA-AN

Barangay Linaon saw the construction of slope protection walls and a wire mesh system to mitigate erosion and protect the Kabankalan-Hinobaan Section of the main road.

OTON

Iloilo River North Bank Road, also known as Iloilo Sunset Boulevard. This 4.99-kilometer, four-lane road project connects Barangay Tabucan in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, to Barangay Cagbang in Oton.

BANATE

River bank projects in Banate, Iloilo, primarily focus on coastal resource management and flood control, with a particular emphasis on the Banate Bay area.

SARA

A River bank project is the Construction of Slope Protection Structure for the Serruco Communal Irrigation System (CIS). This project, involves concrete slope protection works on both the upstream left and right sides of the Serruco CIS in Sara.

Branch- Lite Projects

CADIZ

Paniqui-on River is a tributary of the much bigger and longer Lumanoy River where flooding is a common occurrence during rainy days of typhoons. Hence, the protective structure will help prevent untoward incidents caused by water overflow.

BINALBAGAN

Actively involved in riverbank protection projects in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, to mitigate flooding and erosion. These projects primarily involve the construction of slope protection structures along the Binalbagan River and its tributaries.

KABANKALAN

342-lineal meter concrete slope protection along the upstream of Approach A of Ilog Bridge in Barangay Talubangi. Flood Control Structures are continually being erected.

MANDALAGAN

Repair and maintenance of the Mandalagan River revetment, as well as construction of revetments and floodwalls. Additionally, there are ongoing efforts to address flooding in the area through pump and floodgate systems.

PASSI

A 186.4-lineal meter revetment wall a protective barrier, often made of materials like stone, concrete, or sheet piles, designed to prevent erosion and stabilize slopes, particularly along shorelines, riverbanks, and canals.
